Sniper: G.R.I.T.- Global Response & Intelligence Team
We will read today’s story about the new branch of Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) that aims to prevent the threat to the world against international terrorists. This movie is the American Action thriller film released in 2023 titled Sniper: G.R.I.T.- Global Response and Intelligence Team directed by Oliver Thompson with a duration of 1 hour and 33 minutes starring Chad Michael Collins (Brandon Beckett), Ryan Robbins (Zero), and Luna Fujimoto (Yuki a.k.a Lady Death).
The film begins where the leader of the terrorist organization IVAN BUBALO meets his disciples with their agenda to influence and conquer neighboring countries. It is looking for the woman who attempted his life named YUKI MIFUNE they found out that she is working in the United States under the alias LADY DEATH but her men do not yet know where she is so Bubalo is very angry, Someone hid Yuki.
Meanwhile, in Los Angeles, The two operatives of the G.R.I.T or Global Response & Intelligence Team BRANDO and ZERO were summoned by the head of agency GABRIEL STONE to inform them that Yuki was still alive while the two were in Colombia for six months their mission. Gabriel sent Lady Death to take Bubalo away but she suddenly disappeared. He just received from Yuki who came from Bubalo’s palace itself. Gabriel gave the two agents the mission to save Yuki and finish what she had started to eliminate Bubalo including his high officials.
The two agents arrived in MALTA Brandon was acting as a sniper as he was good at that while Zero was allowed to enter the palace pretending to be one of the guards. There was a party going on in the palace today so the officials of the organization were sure to be there. Brandon looked for them among the guests and the first thing he saw was ANA COSTA who was spreading Bubalo’s propaganda but he couldn’t finish it right away because there was a guard nearby who might attract attention.
Zero came up with a good plan to get all the officers out. He looked for MARIO FAVA inside the head of Bubalo’s security he told him that KATRINA COSTA Babulo’s personal accountant wanted to see him outside then he went to meet with Mario.
Brandon was not able to kill Ana yet he also saw MARIO MUSCAT Babulo’s attorney because he was in the bathroom he was the one Brandon killed first then he had Zero clean up the mess left behind. One of Babulo’s men almost saw it but Zero stopped him with his ability to translate their language.
The two officers are now outside who are confused because they were just set-up before they could escape Brandon finished off the two with just one bullet. Zero also saw Doctor ZORAN ZORIC the doctor of Babulo. He also follows him but he notices him just before the gunfire Yuki arrives and says that the Doctor saved her life.
They now include Doctor to escape so that the mission is over. Brandon made a way to get rid of Ana’s guard then he shot him. Babulo is also going out to show the people who follow him as they consider him their master. When he spoke in front of everyone Brandon ended up being the leader of the organization while his colleagues successfully escaped.
After the mission the team went to a safe place. Gabriel thanked Doctor for saving Yuki and let them spend the night there. After the called Yuki told what happened to him that he spent three months before entering the organization and became close to Babulo. One night when she was going to carry out the mission Ana came. She was stopped from what she was planning because she received bullet wounds in the back but she was able to escape and the Doctor saved her from near death.
After that everyone rested but the next day when they woke up the Doctor was missing, it turned out that he ran away with their things but Zero sensed what he was planning so he followed while he was monitoring the Doctor’s movements he also called the acquaintance to find out what the Doctor was doing on the laptop but his friend didn’t agree because he didn’t want to get involved.
Zero calls another friend who is good at computers named Intelligence PETE he asks for help and hacks the laptop near using the tracker on his cellphone. It found out that the Doctor has a transaction on the Dark Web with the alias Prince Caspian, the Doctor is selling the so-called Maltese Falcon and they will meet today for the exchange.
The team was waiting for the Doctor to meet with his transaction partner but before the exchanged started. Yuki discovered something in the Doctor’s conversation. Her colleagues were just wondering that she could not be contacted while the Doctor’s transaction continued with what he was selling to the Japanese but the alias Caspian thought that the Doctor was just fooling him because his target was under his car. They fell when Yuki fired from the under the car but the Japanese managed to escape. Yuki was very angry when he escaped and told the Doctor what he was going to sell but he lost his life.
After that happened Yuki admitted that his father is Japanese whose real name is SOSHI MUFINE. She was five years old when her real parents died. Soshi adopted him and considered her a real daughter but when she was ten years old she was imprisoned for 6 months. From then on she was trained to be an assassin when she was twenty years old she killed the father she thought she had done.
In another scene when Soshi goes home Ana who survived is waiting for him to find out what her relationship is with the Doctor because she suspects that he knows something about Lady Death’s whereabouts. Soshi says that they are the same enemy he meets with the Doctor for a device that can point to its location and he forms an alliance so that they can work together.
Ana’s staff immediately went to Yuki’s location and according to her tracker. Arriving at the place Yuki was currently eating with other agents and there they were ambushed by the enemy but they were able to hide. Brandon dropped the opponent on the other side but it suddenly disappeared like a bubble.
When the three got away. Pete told what he found out that the Maltese Falcon was a tracker connected to Yuki there were people looking for her so the Doctor helped her to make money. They suspect that the cellphone that the Doctor gave her so that she could call Gabriel was connected to the tracker. Yuki destroyed the cellphones of the to agents so they no longer have contact with Gabriel because that’s where Gabriel met with Pete is aware that this is the last contact with his agents.
He encouraged him to accompany him to MALTA to help him find the three even though Pete didn’t want to he was also forced to fear what be done to him while at that time Brandon looked for a weapon that he could use and then the three of them met at their hotel. Gabriel is also currently on the plane with Pete who is too complacent to be forced to come along.
Meanwhile Brandon made their car a bait thinking there was a tracker and put the Doctor there but while waiting the enemy arrived right where they were. Yuki was able to escape before they were ambushed and gave chase. Zero fires at the man from behind until he hits him and escapes.
When the three got home Zero wondered how Brandon knew where they were but he just saw the, Zero suspected that there was another reason why they were found. When he saw Yuki’s back he suspected that a Doctor had placed it before sewing up the wound. Yuki could do nothing but agree to open the wound on her back.
The two immediately performed the removal of the stitches but everything was not easy. Two wounds have also been open but the suspected tracker is still missing. It was thought that there was nothing there but Yuki still wanted to continue until they finally got what the Doctor admitted was behind it which was a small device.
They intend to use it as bait for those chasing them. The three immediately got ready when the enemy arrived looking for their location using the tracker he was carrying. He went through the window thinking he could single out Yuki but only left a bait and that’s when the three killed the enemy.
They also got the used tracker Yuki called the father to meet alone. The next day Yuki went to the placed she said but the enemy captured his colleagues. She was accompanied by the men sent by the father while Gabriel also arrived at Babulo’s palace and passed underneath to look for them.
Pete intends to break into the palace’s security camera but the signal inside the cave is weak. They searched the area for a signal until they got near to the palace and that’s when Pete got into the network. He saw the footage of Soshi Mufine. Gabriel planned to look for him because he suspected that he knew something suddenly someone came so the two immediately run away leaving the laptop behind.
Soshi arrived at the palace Gabriel was also there who followed them. He planned to follow him inside but Pete didn’t want to because he only knew computers. Gabriel forced him to join and made him a member of G.R.I.T. Pete did nothing but accompany Gabriel to enter the palace. There were many guards around so he thought of connecting to the laptop to see the enemies which he immediately did because then the two easily entered the area because they immediately knew the location of the enemies using the security camera.
Yuki also arrived at the palace faring the father she wondered why Ana was with him. The father said that they had the same goal so they worked together to catch her. When Soshi was about to kill Yuki Ana stopped her and wanted her to do it because of that Yuki had a chance and Ana was killed.
When she was about to finish of the father Ana men’s arrived with the colleague as a captive. Yuki was to forced to let go of the father to save the comrades but Gabriel came and helped them.
Since then the group has encountered many enemies. Gabriel asked Pete to find a safe way for them to escape because of the number of enemies they were facing the four separated. Yuki landed alone in the area with many lurking brusque fearlessly she faces them in hand to hand combat.. Soon Yuki was able to take down some of them one by one and continued to face the rest even though she was tires Yuki did not give up and continues to fight.
Meanwhile Pete was close to Soshi he hid so as not to be seen but when he looked at the security camera his laptop died so he couldn’t see anything. He was going down thinking there was no enemy but Soshi was there but he ran out of bullets and because Pete was able to fire but he didn’t kill him.
Yuki continued to fight with the men he was facing until they reached the outside where there was a sniper aiming at him fortunately Brandon came and stopped him. Yuki also successfully exhausted all her opponents but suddenly the armed came men who intended to finish her off before she could Zero saved her with a machine gun that almost killed her but Brandon saved her and they successfully used up everything.
They caught up with Soshi who was still alive but could no longer move because of what he had done they let him go so the law would punish him. In the end Pete is now part of Global Response team and it was also reported on television that Soshi is facing his sins in jail but Yuki has killed him.
