Taxi Driver
Today we will read the thrilling drama series that revolves around the life of a mysterious taxi driver named Do-Gi who works for a company called Rainbow Taxi however it is no ordinary taxi service. Do-Gi and his colleagues provide justice to people who have been harmed and failed to get legal aid. They seek revenge on behalf of victims of violent crimes, including domestic abuse and corruption. This series is full of action, suspense and compassion. Each episode reveals a new story, victim and villian that keep you on edge as they follow Do-Gi’s journey to make the world a better place, one flight at a time and it’s titled TAXI DRIVER directed by Joon-Woo Park starring Lee Je-Hoon (Kim Do-Gi), Kim Eui-sung (Jang Sung Chul) and Pyo Ye-jin (Ahn Go-Eun).
The story begins with one of the most difficult missions DELUXE TAXI TEAM in the office of the Head Prosecutor Mr.Jo who asked for help form Mr.Jang’s Blue bird Foundation to support a Pastor. The father of the missing young man who is believed to be the victim of a crime told the Prosecutor that this is a case of murder where the victim’s remains are missing. They know what may have happened but they have no evidence, The Pastor cannot accept that his son is dead. At the mass attended by Mr.Jang he placed the Deluxe taxi advertisement in the money container so that it could reach the Pastor.
The next scene Prosecutor Kang and Prosecutor Wang went to Pastor Ko but Do-Gi picked him up in the taxi and the Pastor began to tell the story of what happened before his son Dong-Hee disappeared. His son’s girlfriend Hye-Yeon is as smart as his son he wants the girl for his son who works in construction.
One day Dong-Hee said goodbye to meet Hye-Yeon’s friend to give him a project and that was the last day the Pastor saw the son. The Pastor showed the picture of Hye-Yeon’s friend who met his son. Do-Gi faces the suspect Suk-Tae who is the right hand of Chairman Baek who is a syndicate with a private prison that tales care of criminals caught by the Deluxe taxi team.
The Pastor continued to tell the story that the suspect forced Dong-Hee to drink alcohol with sleeping pills and then he took her to his office. The suspect’s companion Woo-Sub followed to the office and then they went out to together leaving his son inside.. Since then his son disappeared as if in a bubble and they don’t know if he is still there. It was not seen on all the CCTV’s around that the son came out of the building.
At the church Dong-Hee sister told Prosecutor Kang that the suspect was Hye-Yeon’s ex-boyfriend so he killed his brother out of jealousy. The investigator promised to find his brother no matter what. The girl begged them to help punish the culprit. Back to the two, Do-Gi gave the envelope to Pastor Ko for the instruction of the Deluxe taxi service. The Pastor got off the taxi and headed to the arcade and followed the instructions.
First explained the rules of the company. The taxi meter is running while the company working on his request, the fee will charged at the time the transactions are completed. The last agreement is that he cannot reveal to others about the Rainbow taxi service. If he wants to take revenge on the culprit he will have to press the blue button if not the red button. Although he remembered his son as a Pastor he still chose not to take revenge hoping that his son was still alive and would return to them because of the Pastor’s decision the Deluxe taxi team agreed not to continue the mission. However, Do-Gi is uneasy because he knows the suspect.
At the precinct, Young-Tae was arrested and is currently being investigated by Prosecutor Kang. According to the investigation he made Dong-Hee drink sleeping pills and brought him to his office. The duo seen in the office confirm that the young man was beaten. Unfortunately the evidence was not enough so the suspect was not arrested and was released immediately.
Meanwhile Do-Gi suddenly discovers something about the suspect’s dealings with his partner Woo-Sub being beaten and threatened because he mentions Hye-Yeon’s name while Do-Gi peeks through the opening from the window. He was surprised when Suk-Tae approached him. It turns out that what he thought was someone else. That person’s Suk-Tae’s twin whose name Young-Tae. In Chairman Baek’s office they met Do-Gi, Mr.Jang, right hand Suk-Tae and the new managing director Young-Tae meet. That’s when Mr.Jang and Do-Gi realize that the twins are both members of Chairman Baek. Chairman was embarrassed by Young-Tae’s sin so he slapped Suk-Tae because the twins kept a secret from her. She reminded Mr.Jang not to interfere in their transactions.
One night after being caught in a drunk driving crime Woo-Sub was jailed. The next morning Prosecutor Kang asked him what happened last night he went to Young-Tae’s office. He couldn’t say anything because he didn’t see Dong-Hee. Prosecutor to shorten his prison term and when he remembered the brutality of the boss he thought of cooperating with the investigation.
The Prosecutor ordered him to find out how Young-Tae disposed of the victim’s body. When he and his boss had a drink together he convinced him to tell how he disposed Dong-Hee’s body. Young-Tae trusted him and whispered to him what he did to Dong-Hee. When the boss passed out from drunkenness he called him a fat pig and then he left.
When he got off the building he immediately called the Prosecutor to reveal what Young-Tae did. Unfortunately their conversation was interrupted when the twin brothers blocked him to escaped. He jumped out of the window he was lucky and managed to run. Using another car Prosecutor Kang and Mr.Wang immediately rushed to his location to save him from harm.
Suk-Tae caught up with Woo-Sub in an alley unexpectedly Do-Gi suddenly there was a fierce battle between Do-Gi and Suk-Tae who was significantly bigger than him. Not long after a police mobile arrived so they both escaped.
Meanwhile Woo-Sub continue to run away from the twins only t be blinded by an iron strike that crippled him. Young-Tae followed him to the warehouse he entered and the cruel boss tortured him there. After a while Mr.Wang suddenly came to save Woo-Sub he wrestled with Young-Tae who was bigger than him.
It didn’t take long for him to beat him but he didn’t realize that Suk-Tae was behind him and stabs him. Meanwhile Woo-Sub is turned around by Young-Tae and pulled out. A few minutes later Mr.Wang’s body was found in the warehouse. Prosecutor Kang was shocked when she learned that her colleague and friend Mr.Wang was killed in the encounter.
Not far away was Do-Gi who was also saddened by what happened. Young-Tae was quickly arrested for murdering Mr.Wang he just laughed all the way to the precinct because he knew there was not enough evidence that he killed Mr.Wang. He tested Prosecutor Kang’s patience when she investigated him. Again Young-Tae laughed at the investigation.
The Prosecutor could not control her emotions so she hit the laptop on his face and hit the chair which was stopped by the Head Prosecutor. Again Young-Tae was released because there was not enough evidence and Prosecutor Kang was charged with a different case. Prosecutor Kang was very angry and sad when her friend and work colleague died.
She caught up with Do-Gi outside. She remembered their conversation before about the victims and asked Do-Gi what they could do. Do-Gi says they can take revenge.Do-Gi took him in the Deluxe Taxi and there he told why she wanted revenge. The first is the case of the Pastor who lost his son’s body, Second is the disappearance of Woo-Sub and the third is the death of her friend Mr.Wang.
The last thing she said was that their law enforcement method didn’t work so she wanted to try the Deluxe taxi service method. Do-Gi takes her to a karaoke bar to follow the instructions on the envelope. The rules of the company were explained if she wanted to take revenge she should press the blue button and if not she should press the red button. She remembered her friend before she pressed the blue button and that’s when the new mission of Deluxe taxi begun.
First they need to find out how the bodies of the people killed by the syndicate are disappeared. Go-Eun starts looking at the CCTV around the crime scene. While Do-Ki took out the Deluxe taxi together with the two other companions Kyung-Koo and Jin-Eon with the van they always use.
Dong-Hee’s disappearance is a mystery to them because there is no blind spot around the CCTV. The two went to the dive shop below Young-Tae’s office and noticed that there was a leak in the corner of the shop. The staff said that something had been rising from above for a long time. Do-Gi pretends to be a policeman and asks the shopkeepers across the street if she noticed anything strange around him.
The shopkeeper said that she noticed every day that there was smoke coming from the hole is Young-Tae’s office. In the garbage they noticed a melted gallon they thought that it was melted by sulfuric acid and that acid can also be used to melt the human body, Do-Gi informs Prosecutor Kang about this sulfuric acid and asks her if she knows anything unusual. The Prosecutor said that Woo-Sub has a MH company that makes humidifiers that use sulfuric acid. Go-Eun noticed in the record that the company does not make humidifiers but regularly buys sulfuric acid.
Next scene Prosecutor Kang talks to Chairman Baek to confront her about Woo-Sub’s company being connected to her. The Prosecutor says that Woo-Sub is missing and asks the Chairman if she has anything to do with it. The Prosecutor cornered the Chairman who may be the culprit because she has the largest investment in Woo-Sub’s company which she holds by the neck.
Meanwhile NAMSUNG Industries has a deliver schedule to Woo-Sub’s MH company. Go-Eun pretended to be an employee of the MH company and delayed the delivery for an hour so that Kyung-Koo and Jin-Eon pretended to be NAMSUNG to deliver the sulfuric acid. They put a GPS tracker on the drum so Do-Gi can follow Young-Tae. Do-Gi follows the truck to the warehouse where he attacks the guards until he reaches a room.
He imagined Young-Tae pouring sulfuric acid into the victim’s body to dissolve it. In the cabinet was Woo-Sub’s dead body ready to put in the bath tub to be dissolved with sulfuric acid. Do-Gi started to have a panic attack so he went outside and took a deep breath in the paper bag he picked up. He tells Go-Eun that Chairman Baek’s company is involved in the illegal sale of human organs.
They take a human organ from them and then melt the body of the victim so that the authorities can’t get any evidence against them. Do-Gi returns to the building and enters the room where he stops the crew from harvesting the unconscious victim’s organ. Just a few seconds Young-Tae came and wrestled with him he was easily overturned like a rag doll.
Outside Kyung-Koo punch the fleeing staff. Do-Gi continued to fight Young-Tae and when he attacked him he cut the victim’s body and ran away. Do-Gi couldn’t follow him because he preferred to save the injured man. Meanwhile Young-Tae managed to escape behind the building.
Do-Gi calls Prosecutor Kang to call an ambulance and send the police. Soon the police arrived and searched the place. It was announced on television that the operation of the organ trafficking syndicate had been revealed and that Young-Tae was currently being pursued by the authorities. Chairman Baek admitted to Mr.Jang that she was the one who started the illegal work but she only takes organs from bad people.
She didn’t know that even as a civilian his twin staff sympathized and told the Chairman that she would take care of her right-hand man Suk-Tae. When Do-Gi arrived he told Mr.Jang that he would arrest Young Tae and surrender to the authorities, Mr.Jang refused his decision because the authorities of their private prison might find out.
The scene moved to the conversation between Mr.Jang and Chairman Baek who said that she would put a sleeping pill for Sul-Tae to drinks and they would take care of her staff’s reprimand. The day od the conversation came. The Chairman put a sleeping pill in Suk-Tae’s drink but it didn’t work so Chairman Baek was attacked by her staff.
Mr.Jang and Do-Gi rushed to the restaurant and that’s when they found out that the video was pre-recorded and they were tricked by Chairman Baek and his right-hand man Suk-Tae. When they went to the private prison run by the Chairman.The criminals incarcerated there were gone. What they found there were Kyung-Koo and Jin-Eon who were beaten and captured by the syndicates.
Soon the Chairman called Mr.Jang to inform him that she was still holding the criminals who were detained by the Taxi Service Team. It appears that the Chairman planned all the events and even with her connivance Suk-Tae and Young-Tae. The Chairman laughed like a devil because she fooled Mr.Jang’s group.
The next scene shows Jin-Eon and Kyung-koo going to the private prison where the criminals they captured are being held. Little did they know that Suk-Tae’s group was waiting to beat them and then smoke the entire room to make the criminals imprisoned there unconscious and move them to another place before they left they locked up Kyung-Koo and Jin-Eon who were crippled. Back to Yong-Tae who escaped from Do-Gi he hijacked a man’s car and used it to get to the place the twin was referring to.
In the hide out Go-Eun found put that Chairman Baek was hiding Young-Tae inside the embassy of the Bahamas at the same time the law enforcement officers also found out the information. The Deluxe taxi team went to the embassy and Do-Gi was able to enter the restricted area.
Not long after, Prosecutor Kang arrives to inform ambassador Jack Johnson that she knows the secret between him and Chairman Baek. The ambassador angrily called the Chairman and told her to pick up Young-Tae from the embassy so that he wouldn’t feel bad. Meanwhile Do-Gi smokers the surroundings and sounds the fire alarm to force Young-Tae to come out of the room where he is hiding. Everyone exited the embassy while Young-tae suddenly appeared. Do-Gi chased him and gave him a match before tasting the cruelty of a vigalante. Even if he was hurt he couldn’t tell where the criminals were. Maybe he didn’t know anything because he and his twin had never met. When he lost consciousness they put him in the ambulance carried by Kyung-Koo. Prosecutor Kang and Chairman Baek notice the ambulance and a chase ensues in which the Deluxe team eventually escape. In the evening Mr.Jang called Chairman Baek to exchange their captive Young-Tae to the criminals caught by the Deluxe taxi team.
They agreed to meet at the world cup bridge the next day at eight o’clock in the evening. The next morning while on the flight all the criminals in the hands of the Chairman were able to escape from the ropes of a criminal and get their control of the bus they were on. They let the other criminals go and the bus want revenge on Do-Gi, Chairman Baek and others who put them there. Soon Suk-Tae’s group also recovered some criminals and Chairman Bae gave them the opportunity to take revenge on the deluxe taxi group. After the meeting they continued to the bridge that had been discussed. Chairman Baek cheated Mr.Jang because the bus was only filled with the staff. The hidden bus approaches and there are the criminals who have been given weapons by the cunning syndicate.
When Do-Gi got off the taxi the law enforcement officers suddenly arrived causing the syndicates to panic and retreat. What’s worse apart from Young-Tae the police also arrested Do-Gi. Meanwhile Go-Eun tries to pick up Maria who saw the escaped Jong Geun however Suk-Tae suddenly came and hit him on the head with a pipe so they both fell down.
Chairman Baek’s men rushed to Mr.Jang’s house to take revenge. When in Eon entered Kyung-Koo yelled at him to run away. He manages to escape with the deluxe taxi from the prison. Do-Gi receives a letter saying that he can get out of the prison if he wanted his comrades to be caught alive.
He showed the letter to Prosecutor Kang so she allowed him to escaped. When he got out Jin-Eon rode him and Chairman called him urguing him to go to his friends. When Deluxe Taxi went down to the basement they thought Do-Gi was the one with the car. Do-Gi appeared in the back and turned off the main switch using gaggles with night version he was beaten one by one by all Chairman’s staff. Baek can’t see where the enemy is. The last thing he faced was Manager Lee who was forced to tell where Suk-Tae was who held Go-Eun captive.
During Do-Gi’s appearance Chairman Baek became impatient and blinded one of Mr.Jang’s eyes. Law enforcement soon arrived to arrest Suk-Tae for the murder of Woo-Sub and Mr.Wang. They ransacked the house by Chairman Baeak but they didn’t see Suk-Tae hiding in the basement secret prison of the syndicate.
Do-Gi reached the location of Go-Eun and Maria whom he saved from danger against Jong Geun and Suk-Tae Do-Gi and Go-Eun went back to rescue Kyung-Koo and Mr.Jang they witnessed repeated collisions of the track that Joo Chan brought to the Deluxe taxi that Jin-Eon brought. Do-Gi immediately beat Joo-Chan and looked at Jin-Eon’s condition he was seriously injured and they did not know if his companion would survive.
Do-Gi continued to hint down Joo-Chan and made sure he could no more harm. Then he went to Chairman Baek’s house. Using the gato he resisted and upset all the personnel who met him until he reached the secret hide out of the syndicate. There he continued to fight and beat everyone who stood in his way.
In the end he was stunned because his companions would die if he continued. He surrendered himself until Suk-Tae beat him and he was completely unable to move. When Chairman Beak came he was able to take her hostage so they could release Kyung-Koo and Mr.Jang. There was also a chance to escape the Chairman whos kept running away from Do-Gi.
Suk-Tae was left behind and confronted Do-Gi with the intensity of Do-gi’s body shots he struggled to fight Suk-Tae until the Chairman’s men surrounded him. Fortunately, Prosecutor Kang and other law enforcement officers arrived and arrested Suk-Tae and his companions. While arresting the criminals Do-Gi gets a police mobile to chase the Chairman.
It turns out that had GPS tracker on the Chairman’s track so he was able to follow him he used his knowledge of car drifting to fight off all his attackers with almost no strength left. He followed the Chairman and resisted all that stood in his way . He soon cornered the Chairman who tried to stab hum but he only crippled him.
Not long after the Prosecutor and the police arrived after them when Chairman Baek said that he has strong ties to politicians and rich people. The Prosecutor said to call his associates so that they can be together in jail. Then she handcuffed her. When the two are left at the dock Do-Gi admits that he trusts Prosecutor Kang and not the police force.
When he walked away he completely collapsed on the pavement due to exhaustion and bruises. All the criminals involved in the death of Dong-Hee, Mr,Wang and Woo-Sub have finally been arrested.
This is where our drama series ends.
