Fast X
The movie we will feature today is about the one who must protect his family from Dante Reyes who is avenging the death of his father and the loss of his family’s wealth. This movie released in 2023 titled “FAST X” directed by Louis Letettier starring Vin Diesel (Dominic Toretto), Michelle Rodriguez (Letty) and Jason Statham (Shaw).
The film begins with a flashback in RIO DE JANEIRO where the leader of the syndicate Hernan Reyes is preparing to bequeath his position to his son Dante Reyes he did this to protect their wealth against those who want to overthrow them and Dante says that he will kill them all but Hernan mentions that if they gave them suffering, death is not enough as compensation but rather torture as well.
They entered the police station they owned and prepared to further expand their power. However, their station is suddenly attacked and the perpetrator is a group of led by Dominic Toretto and Brian. They intend to steak the entire safe full of Hernan’s money and while doing so their partner Elena and Hobbs are shooting at the police. Hernan was alerted to what was happening.
Using the two cars Dom and Brian were in they pulled the safe out of the road Hernan and Dante chased them with the police but due to Dom’s good driving he was able to knock Dante out of the car before throwing his cars towards Hernan which immediately killed him.
The scene shifts to present day Los Angeles 10 years later where Dom is seen teaching his son Little B how to drive a car. That day Dom’s mother came to visit so they could have a family lunch. His mother gave a beautiful speech about their happy family before sharing a delicious meal.
After eating, the other members of Dom’s team are talking about their next mission, They consist of Ramsey, Roman, Tej, Han the agency gave them a mission where they have to steal from Rome a stolen by advanced computer chips.
This time Roman will lead them for the mission, at night after putting Little B to bed. Dom and his wife Letty sleep together and Dom declares that he is a man who fears nothing but he is afraid of losing his wife and children.
That night a woman named Cipher visits their house the woman injured and Dom is surprised to see her because Cipher is the woman who killed her ex-girlfriend Elena. Dom is shaking with rage but Cipher mentions that she is not came to bring back the past but instead to warn him of impending danger.
She tells Dom and Letty what happened where Dante came to his headquarters to steal an advance AI weapon to control Cipher’s men after taking each of their families captive. Dante manages to escape with Tech guy and when she is about to kill her men Cipher uses a device to disable their guns.
She fought off her men until she finally escaped through the elevator. Cipher warns Dom about the impending war in which every member of Dom’s family is sure to be involved. The next day Dom visited the agency led by Little Nobody who told them that they locked Cipher in their black sight and confirmed her story last night.
Roman’s group makes it to Rome but Dom realizes that no mission has been ordered by the agency to them so it’s probably a set-up some time later Roman is in Rome and currently carrying out a mission to steal a trap with carried by Computer Chips.
Dom and Little Nobody are also there to stop them but they can’t contact them so they continue to search the streets of Rome. Ramsey and Tej eventually manage to get into the trap but suddenly the doors lock and the steering wheel is out of control.
It turns out Dante is controlling it with Cipher’s AI weapon and he blows up a car. Dom received the report to the explosion so immediately went there. Tej manages to get inside the truck and finds a large round bomb instead Computer Chips. The helpless Danter plans to blow up the Vatican with this bomb.
Dom later manages to contact Ramsey and Tej learns of their situations Little Nobody mentions that he can disarm that bomb if they can stop the trap. In order for him to actually handle the bomb. Dom came up with an idea to forcefully stop the trap but opened the back door to release the bomb.
They manage to knock down the trap but the bomb gets out and rolls down the street. Dom and Letty chase after the bomb to stop it while Dante reports them to the authorities. The police set the trap but Roman’s group managed to escape.
Dante rides a motorcycle to join in the fun, Letty sees him and decides to chase him while Dom continue to chase the bomb and the police are also chasing him. The bomb hit a gas station causing an explosion but fortunately the bomb did not explode due to its steel body.
When the bomb was about to fall Dom hit it to stop it. He succeeded and immediately informed Little Nobody but Dante rigged his car with explosives. Letty immediately warned him about it so when the car exploded he survived.
However the overturned vehicle hit the bomb causing it to roll again, Dom continued to chase while Letty was persistent in catching Dante but eventually the police cornered her. Dante activated the bomb and Dom only has 30 seconds to save the Vatican from exploding.
Dom and the bomb are on a bridge near the river where he tries to to stop the bomb rolling but fails. Despite the encouraging him to just give up, Dom didn’t run out of cruel ideas he crashed his car into a construction crane causing it to hit the bomb and fall into the river.
A bomb explodes in the river causing a strong tremor and a wide shop wave Dom manages to escape and leave the police but Letty is captured.Dante whispers to himself that Dom’s suffering he will fulfill his destiny and that his is all just the beginning.
The explosion was reported around the world and Dom’s group was blamed for it and considered terrorists. At the headquarters of the agency a woman named Tess meets a man maned Aimes, Tess is the daughter of the former head of the agency Mr.Nobody but because he suddenly disappeared and Little Nobody was fired from the position.
Aimes is now the current leader of the agency. Aimes believes that Dom’s group is criminal and terrorist but Tess does not believe his allegations because she knows that the group remained dirty in the eyes of others in order to make the agency clean. Tess asks to help them but Aimes refuses and instead orders Dom’s group to be captured or killed. Aimes warns Tess not to get in his way so Tess leaves intending to make her own move.
Meanwhile, while observing destruction around Rome Dom was approached by Queenie the mother of their former colleague Shaw. She informs him about the capture Letty by the agency and that Dom and his group are wanted.
Aimes is on the plane he orders the advance tracking device called God’s eye to go online to find Dom’s team but he finds out that Tess has stolen it. However, he knew that Dom had other families so he ordered their arrest.
Later Little B playing video games with his aunt Mia but suddenly Aimes’ men rushed them to capture the two alive. Fortunately Dom’s other brother Jakob came right away to save the, Jakob fought off the intruders and with Mia’s help they were able to make them all down.
They went out to run away and because of Dom’s order that Jakob take Little B. Mia gave custody of the child to her brother. Meanwhile in Rome, Tess goes to talk to Dom at a bar where he talks about Aimes pursuit of his group and also shows him the stolen God’s eye.
He also informed him that the person giving him trouble is Dante the son of Hernan Reyes who they killed. Dom demands that Tess take him to Rio De Janeiro to see Dante and also demands that they release Letty. His last wish seems impossible because Letty is often in black sight but she says he will do her best.
Meanwhile Roman go out of a container and arrived in London while Jakob was taking Little B to his meet up place with Dom. Tess goes to let Letty know that Dom sent her to escape so she gives her a plan to do so.
Dom arrives in Rio De Janeiro and sees his best fried Diogo and even Elena’s younger sister Isabel. Later Dante also arrived there and he reminded Dom of his father. Dante says that he took his father form him when they stole the money and left them only misery so Dom says he came here to destroy that misery and also mentions that they didn’t use their money and in instead burned.
Eventually Dom and Dante’s group are at gunpoint so Dante offers him a deal where they race and if Dom wins he gets Dante. Dom agreed but unbeknownst to him a bomb was placed under the car of Isabel and Diogo when the race started, Dante ordered Dom to choose the one he would save from the two.
At first Dom couldn’t decide but in the end he chose to save Isabel so Dante blew up Diogo’s car and killed him. However, Dante tricked Dom and planned to kill Isabel so Dom immediately took action and was able to remove the bomb before it exploded. Dante was able to escape while Dom managed to get Isabel out of the car.
Meanwhile the wound that suffered from Tess was being treated and when she woke up she saw Cipher by her side who was also being treated. The next day Dante made another move to torment Dom’s family where he used up all the money of Roman’s group. They plans to get out of his place and meet Dom at the meet-up place but they know the agency is looking for them so the need weapons to fight back but when they realize they’ve been hacked and their money is gone they lose hope.
However Roma reveals that he didn’t put his money in the bank and instead put it in his body now they have the money to use to continue. Meanwhile Aimes found out about Tess visit to Letty and they see that she came from Brazil before it happened so Aimes realizes that Dom is there.
Dom and Isabel had a tearful conversation about Elena who was a former police officer. Isabel mentioned that her sister sacrificed her life to bring down the Reyes family. After they killed her ex-girlfriend he thinks she still has her files. On the other hand Ramsey takes the group to visit his old friend Bowie who runs a notorious black market. Ramsey wants to buy him weapons and vehicles but they realize later that he has betrayed them for the reward that is at stake in the group.
After seeing their photo and location that was sent to the agency because the agency was coming to them the group left immediately. Meanwhile after Cipher released a toxic smoke to the scientist she released herself as Letty as well.
Cipher asks to help her make the escape but Letty is still doesn’t believe her. She attacked her and they got into a fight where the two fought violently until finally Letty was able to knock Cipher down. When Dom and Isabel see the file on Dante they learn that he has been mentally ill since childhood.
Dante has been the owner of his family’s property since his father’s death and has sold everything except the old police station. Dom plans to go there to find answers but when he exits Isabel’s house he finds Aimes following him.
However, Dom signaled the locals to intercept him and the men surrounded him and intended to steal his watch but Aimes arrived and beat them all up. Meanwhile with no other choice Han decided to go to Shaw to ask for his help. Shaw thought that Han came to take revenge so he was immediately attacked while they were fighting agency personnel sent to catch them suddenly arrived so the two immediately went to take them down. After only a few battles they managed to kill everyone.e
On the other hand Dom gets to the old police station and sees Dante’s headquarters he gets a call from Dante who tells him to go see him because he has captured Isabel. Soon Dom was overtaken by Aimes and his men so Dom had no choice but to surrender to them.
Meanwhile Letty tried to escape alone but when she opens the door she sees that they are in the middle of Antarctica, She went back inside and finally agreed to Cipher’s plan to escape at the same time. On the other hand the group learns that Dante used their money to buy a mercenary army to hunt them all down.
Not only Dom’s family and those close to him but also everyone who helped them including Shaw’s mother. When Shaw found out that he immediately moved to prepare and gave the group a plane to ride before getting in a car to rescue his mother.
While Dom was being transported in a truck, Aimes and them were suddenly attacked by mercenaries. Aimes and Dom got out of the car to fight the mercenaries paid by Dante. They were on the same bridge where Dom killed Dante’s father. After consuming most of the mercenaries Dante stops Dom and threaten Isabel’s life.
However, Tess arrives and kills the remaining mercenary points a gun at Dante because he is cornered and he releases Isabel and then Dom starts beating up the crazy man but Dante already has a back-up plan where the chopper and Tess was shot as well as Aimes.
Before Isabel could shot Dom saved her and turned the car door into a barricade. Dante takes the God’s eye from Tess before leaving he threatening Dom about the safety of his son Little B. Dom approached Tess with hit her in the shoulder and took her to the car so Isabel could take her to the hospital.
Aimes also survives because of his vest and knows he made a mistake in capturing Dom. So to make up for it he decided to help Dom save Little B. Meanwhile Jakob and Little B arrived in Portugal and entered the room where they were waiting for Dom. Little B thanks his uncle and then he sees Jakob’s car with rocket launchers.
Thanks to Shaw’s help Roman’s group was able to board a plane to go to Portugal. Ramsey found out that Dante used God’s eye to found out Little B’s location and then sent a mercenary there. Jakob was immediately alerted to the approaching enemies and they fled using a vehicle with a rocket launcher.
Dante saw them from a distance and sent all the mercenaries to chase them with a rocket launcher. Jakob was able to outrun some of the pursuers and Dante eventually joined the chase. When they got to the highway Aimes and Dom also got there by plane and Dom got off by dropping a car because he was able to block the way of the mercenaries and Dom saw his son and brother again.
He ordered them to follow him for Aimes plane but unbeknownst to them when they entered the tunnel Jakob’s rocket launcher jumped so Little B didn’t think twice and immediately went to the back to fix it but before when Little B was able to get back inside Dante caught up with them and kidnapped the child.
Unfortunately Jakob’s car leaked fuel and he slowed down so he couldn’t catch up with Dante because there were many mercenaries coming in front of Dom. Jakob decided to sacrifice himself where he used the rocket launcher to jump at the enemies and blew them all up.
Dom was able to make it through and was saddened by his brother’s death but it fueled his anger towards Dante even more. Soon two choppers appeared and attached to Dom’s car to try to slow him down. However Dom used his night rose to speed up and was able to shoot down the two choppers.
After that he spoke to his son on the radio and told him to use his instincts to decide when to jump. Dom’s plan is successful and he gets Little B back to Dante with the son Dom continued to go to Aimes but when they reached the dam they cornered by two traps.
Dante spoke to them from above and revealed that all of this was included in his plan but before crushing father and son. Dante showed another surprise where Roman’s group was also arriving by plane. Dom tries to warn Roman but someone fires a rocket and hits the plane.
The one who did it was Aimes who was revealed to be Dante’s ally from the beginning he was their family’s business partner but when Dom stole the safe Aimes sided with Dante to take revenge. Just as Dom was about to crush them with traps Dom ran out of ideas and jumped the car into the Dam.
As they descend they are chased by rapid fire but Dom uses the night rose to speed up and eventually they crash into the water. The father and son swim and manage to get out but Dante says its time for their death where he activates the bombs placed around the dam.
In the last scene, Cipher and Letty are traveling in the frozen area when suddenly a submarine appears and a woman emerges from it and it turns out that this is Gissele their family member for a long time and thought to be dead.
In the post credit scene we see a team officers breaks into an abandoned mission the leader of the team is revealed to be Hobbs who is also Dom’s former colleague he receives a phone call from Dante and it is revealed that Hernan is it turns out that Dom didn’t kill him in the car but Hobbs shot him instead. On his deathbed Dante mentions that he will come for him to torture as well.
