We will read a story of the pianist who pretends to be a blind witness to a heinous crime. This movies was released in 2018 titled Andhadhun directed by Sriram Raghavan with a length of 2 hours and 19 minutes starring Ayushamann Khurrana (Akash), Tabu (Simi Sinha) and Radhika Apte (Sophie). The genre of the movie is a Crime, Mystery and Thriller.

In Maharashtra City Western India Akash Saraf is a talented pianist who pretends to be blind as an experiment to improve his piano skills. Everyone knows that Akash is blind but this is just part of his training to achieve his dream of going to London to perform.

Meanwhile Promad Sinha is a retired actor who is very popular in his age despite his age he still married Simi Sinha and they have been married for (3) three years. Promad has a child with one of his wives but he does not live with him at home. One day a woman named Sophie was arguing with her fellow motorist.

She also didn’t mean to bump Akash who was crossing the road as an apology Sophie took Akash to a restaurant where Sophie found out that he was a pianist so she took him to her father’s restaurant to play, Sophie’s father was impressed to hear Akash so they took him to play there. Then she also took it to where he lives and will pick it up later that night.

After he got home, Akash immediately took off the contact lens he used pretending to be blind to look at Sophie but his neigbor’s child noticed it. In the evening when Sophie was going to pick him up, Akash didn’t wear his contact lens anymore and pretended to be blind while seeing the surroundings his glasses got dirty when Sophie saw it she was surprised that his eyes looked norman but Akash maintained that he really didn’t see the slightest bit.

At the restaurant, All the customers are satisfied with Akash’s ability to play the piano and his beautiful voice. Sophie’s father was so happy that he took a picture of his daughter with Akash. After he played, Sophie took him to his house again. Akash earns a lot of money from the tip so he is very happy that he can save for his dream in London and since then the (2) two become close to each other.

As time passsed Akash became famous for playing in the restaurant so many people came to have fun even in Promad went there and was impressed by his skills. After Akash played, Promad approached him to invite him to play the piano at his house tomorrow for his and his wife’s anniversary which Akash could not refuse after giving an advance payment.

Sophie took Akash back to his house but heavy rain caught then away. She changed her clothes first but Akash suddenly lost his mind when he saw. He changed in the other room but Sophie followed to invite him to drink but Akash did not refuse and the two drank. While they are enjoying themselves. Sophie tries to fell blind so Akash supports him until the two reach a deep connection. Akash woke up to Sophie cooking breakfast.

Akash went to the famous actor’s invitation to his house. Simi was surprised by Akash’s arrival because his wife did not say anything to him and he was not at home either. However, Simi let him in after the neighbor saw them.

After entering, Simi called his husband to let him know that the pianist had arrive. She also started Akash to play Promad’s favorite but he was shocked to see a blood lying on the floor but he continued to play so as not to be seen.

because he was so nervous, Akash went to the bathroom first ang Simi took him knowing that the pianist was really blind. When he entered the bathroom, a man with a gun was hiding there, so Akash practiced pretending to be blind until he returned to the piano.

Showed what happened in the past, Promad came to surprise his wife but he was surprised to see her with another man in his house.

In the future Akash continue to play while Simi and her lover clean the mess on the floor and place Promad’s body in a suitcase as Akash sees everything.

Simi also felt guilty for the death of her husband but it was too late after they committed the crime. After Akash played he left immediately still unable to believe the crime he had witnessed.

A woman with a tattoo on her hand named Sakhu who sells lottery tickets approached her to sell in exchange for a ride and took him to a police station to report what he witnessed but he was shocked to see that the man involved in the crime was actually a policeman named Manohar. Akash pretended to report his pet cat that was killed but suddenly the policeman became interested in him and accompanied him to find his cat. The police wanted to know if he was really blind but Akash was so good at pretending that he convinced the police that he really couldn’t see anything.

At night at the restaurant, Akash was uneasy especially when he saw Simi there who pretended to be waiting for her husband but she left immediately when she said he never came. Akash also left the restaurant without saying goodbye to Sophie which is why she was surprised.

A few days later, The body of the retires actor was found. According to the story of his wife Simi. Promad left to deal with his business with a large amount of money and did not return. Akash was called to get a statement as he was there at the actor’s house.

He met Promad’s daughter there who sadly remembered his father because he had told him about Akash. However, Akash gave his statement to the police as a blind man to avoid trouble. In Promad’s wake the neighboor told the police that Simi was lying because she saw Promad come to the house but before that a man came first anf the pianist came third.

but Simi managed to get through it while Akash could hear everything. As time goes by Sophie notices that Akash is always out of his mind because Akash can’t talk about the crime he witnessed and she might also know that he is just pretending.

One morning Simi went to her neighbor to ask for medicine for diziness. Akash also had arrived there and witnessed Simi dropping the neighbor to his death. Akash was surprised but he had to pretend he didn’t see anything until everyone was in trouble downstairs. Simi went out as if nothing had happened to cover up her crime with her police boyfriend.

When Akash got home, The boy downstairs suspected that he was seeing him, so he took a video for it. Suddenly, someone knocked on the door and Akash was shocked to see Simi carrying something and gave it to him.

Akash pretends to have thrown the coffee but he still has a gun because he fells that he is just pretending to be blind. Akash admits the truth that he is not blind and says that he di not tell anyone else because everyone knows that he is blind but he suddenly felt dizzy after eating what Simi put in the food he brought until he lost consciousness.

Sophie also came there, the boy greeted her and showed her the video taken as proof that Akash is not blind but Simi had everything planned. She pretended that something was happening between her and Akash since her husband died. Sophie saw that he was unconscious and that he was not wearing any clothes so he immediately left in a bad mood.

At night, When Akash woke up he was surprised that he couldn’t see antyhing. It turned out that Simi had blinded the food so that he couldn’t report it to the police because he had no proof. He called the boy and deleted the video he took. Akash called Sophie to ask for help but she was very angry with him because of what he had seen earlier so Akash had lost hope.

Meanwhile, the police were not satisfied with what they did with Simi blinding the pianist. He went to Akash who intended to leave to kill him but despite not being able to see. Akash was able to figth back and escape the police. He tried to call for help but no one helped him until he hit it causing him to lose unconsciousness because then the police couldn’t find him.

Akash realized the next day that he was in an old clinic struggling with the people around him so the doctor even introdced himself to Sakhu and his wife. Akash aks them for help to get his eye checked by a doctor and they reply that they will help him.

but the truth is that this woman has an illegal activity where Sakhu will sell Akash’s body organ to the doctor. Akash was about to be operated on when someone called the Doctor and he found out what they were planning. Akash struggled with them but they worked together to inject him with sleeping pills.

Akash says he knows something that will make them 10million and mentions Sakhu’s hand tattoo until he passes out before they continue with the removal Sakhu stops the Doctor as he wonders how Akash knew about his tattoo.

When Akash woke up their plan with him didn’t work. Sakhu find out how he came to know about the tattoo Akash admits that he was just faking then and he proved it to them that the couple was harassed so he cooperated to get them the money that the police took from the former actor.

Meanwhile, Simi has all the property left by her husband but they have a big problem when Akash escapes. When she got home she found Akash playing piano he just went ther to say goodbye that he was going to London tomorrow. Simi pretends to be in good spirits that she will take him home but he actually has a paln to kill Akash with the help of the police.

However, Akash also had a plan which is why he really went to his house. The they called the policeman’s wife to inform her of what he did that they had evidence and threatened to give it to the media if she didn’t give the money her husband stole from the former actor.

The policeman’s wife was very angry when she found out what he had done but she also calmed down when she found out that Simi’s car was found and it is suspected that she committed suicide. Meanwhile, Simi is currently held captive by Akash and the Doctor takes a sample of her blood. Simi tries to bribe those who kidnapped him but Akash remind him not to believe him because of the crimes he committed.

The couple later called the police for the place where he brought the money in exchange for the evidence they were holding. His wife has finished the mess he got into. After completing their transaction with the police the couple also tied up Akash so that only they would benefit from the money.

Simi was also inside tied up and laughing at Akash after his colleagues beat him up. Akash told him that the police would kill him too because he was now a problem because Simi was silent and encouraged Akash to work together to escape. Akash didn’t want to agree but he had no choice either. The police are now on their way to the given place.

He was told to put the money in the elevator and take the evidence down but the police followed the elevator upstairs. He was catching up with a man there who tried to run away when he saw him but he hit him when he caught up with him. The man said the evidence was in the basement so he immediately took the elevator.

The man informed his wife that their plan was followed because they trapped him in the elevator and the police accidentally shot himself. Akash finally got out of the gind and looked for a way out with the help of Simi who was his eye. Sakhu immediately took his wife to the hospital to be saved.

Akash is looking for a way to pass while Simi is trying to get out of the tie when she removes the tie she intends to kill Akash but the Doctor comes but he also tries to kill him. Akash helps the Doctor until they manage to put Simi to asleep.

The Doctor thanked him and was ready to help him in return. The Doctors were also unable to save Sakhu’s wife because they are greedy and money could not restore her husband’s life.

Meanwhile the doctor put Simi in the back of the car and included Akash in his plan because his blood matched that of his transaction partner who would make a lot of money. He also planned to use Simi’s eye to see again but Akash did not agree to his paln because they will kill people.

Two year ago while Sophie was walking with her boyfriend in Europe she saw a sign that read A-Kash. When he went to see him he didn’t think that Akash was now a famous pianist in London after he played. Sophie approached suspecting that Akash had been cheating people until then.

The two went out to talk and Akash told them everything that happened where the Doctor stopped them after Simi woke up to go back to sleep while Akash was left inside the car. Simi manages to escape the doctor and takes over driving.

Akash thought that the doctor was driving so he kept begging him not to go ahead with what he was planning. Simi stopped the car and let Akash down while he was away he returned to Akash for good but due to an unexpected chance a farmer fired at the plague of his crops and hit the car causing it to lose control and killed simi.

Sophie found out why he didn’t come back to her, Akash said that he just wanted to forget everything that happened and his friend helped him to reach London before he left Sophie wondered why he didn’t accept the doctor’s offer. Akash didn’t answer and walked away from Sophie.
