Nowhere movie in September 2023

This movie gives way how to act in the same situation. How to live in an unknown period of time in the middle of nowhere. It is also an uplifting film that reminds us of the power of love, resilience and patience. It encourages us to see the bright side in any situation and appreciate our blessing, Overall, good survival thriller drama.

This movie is about escaping a totalitarian country, The protagonist here is the pregnant Mia who fights for her life. She escaped from the warring country bu hiding in a maritime container aboard a cargo ship. After a violent storm, Mia gave birth to her daughter inside a cargo ship.

Movie Summary

The Movie begins with couple Nico and Mia living under a totalitarian regimen that has taken over the country and neighboring states. This regimen brutally kills dependent people because of society lacks the important resources such as food and water. So Mia and Nico plan flee the country so they can start a life in Ireland.

They gave money to human trafficker to take them to the ship yard so they could escape and go to Ireland. When the human trafficker asked for more money they didn’t have any money, Nico asked for Mia’s ring and gave it to the human trafficker, then they were put on the shipping container but before they could leave, they were separated from Nico because the human trafficker dived the passengers and transferred Nico to the their truck.

When the truck stooped, Mia peeked through the hole of the container to see what happening outside and she saw the soldiers of the regiment asking the driver what was inside. The leader of the soldiers told a soldier to shoot the truck and then threatened to shoot them if they didn’t come out. So Mia immediately thought to climb up to the top of the box to save herself. When a girl opened the door they were mercilessly shooting at them, so Mia immediately cover her mouth so she couldn’t hear her.

After a while, the container that Mia was riding in was placed on a ship and then suddenly the container that she was riding in shook very strongly and that’s why they were overtaken by a very storm in the middle of the ocean.

She tried to ask help but suddenly the container overturned so she lost consciousness When she woke up the next day, She saw that there was water inside the container and then she peeked through the holes where she saw that the container she was riding in had floating in the middle of the sea.

She tried to call but the cellphone wouldn’t work because it was wet, and when she heard someone screaming from the other container, She immediately screamed loudly through the hole and called Nico.

She immediately changed the sim card so that she could call Nico but when she looked again she saw that a container had been submerged in the water so she cried at what she saw. At night she tried to slit her wrist but a mother’s heart took over and she thought of her child being carried so she rubbbed her belly and did not continue with the suicide.

She dreamed that the inside of the container was full of water and she tried to escape. After waking up she tried to open the big box tied on top where she saw a lot of tupper ware and then she took the rubber band to cover the holes of the container.

Then, while the storm grew stronger Mia’s stomach became inflamed where it was very difficult for her to give birth to a baby girl and she named her “Noah’ and when she fell asleep due to fatigue and hunger she dreamed of her daughter “UMA” being killed by the regiment soldiers and she blamed herself for her death, because the screen of her cellphone was broken, She couldn’t call Nico and she did everything to save her and her daughter on the middle of very strong waves, then she saw some food and water of those who were killed there and it immediately ran out. So her stomach growled again at the same time, She tried to stop the water from entering the container and because she could no longer bear the extreme fatigue and hunger she was forced to eat Noa’s placenta to survive.

She was also able to pierce the roof of the container with the drill she found here. She was determined to live for her daughter so she made what looked like a fishnet from the wires of the headset she got from the container so she could catch fish for her to eat.

Then she saw a plane in the sky so she broke the TV screen to use more light on it but because of her haste she injured. She told Noa about her father Nico and the brutal murder of her daugther. After that, she saw that the water inside the container was rising, so she and Noa climb to the surface. Fortunately, she was able to talk to Nico because her cellphone screen suddenly working. But Nico said that he was caught by the soldiers and he can’t help her anymore. Mia said that she gave birth and told Nico that he and Noa look alike, but when they said that they love each other it suddenly disappeared because her cellphone battery was dead.

The next day she made a small raft made of tupperware for Noa, but at night she saw Uma’s picture floating inside the container so she took it. She also saw the sneakers that she put on a tupperware but the container had sunk and unfortunately one of her feet got caught on the ropes underneath so she cut it with a knife but Noa’s raft floated on the top and when she got out she couldn’t to see it.

Thanks goodness because of the water that the “Big Whale” spewed out that Noa was crying and she saw it. The next morning, Before losing consciousness the fish she ate drifted away, so the seagulls made the spin and because of these birds, the fishermen saw them, but when they looked at the raft they only saw Noa then the woman pulled the rope made of wires so they saw the unconscious Mia.

The woman CPR immediately but she was still not conscious and after a few more CPR’s Mia woke up and looked for her daughter and then Mia burst into tears of joy when she saw that she and Noa had survive.
