Madame Web Movie 2024 (Recap)

This movie is about a woman who has the ability to see what will happen in the future. That’s why she had to protect (3) three young women from death. This moive directed by S.J Clarkson with a duration of 1 hour and 56 minutes.
The genre of the movie is an aciton, adventure and Sci-Fi.

The movie begins in the AMAZON RAINFOREST in 1973. There we see CONSTANCE a woman with a camera taking a pictures of spider webs. Suddenly a man named EZEKIEL appeared with an umbrella. He asked Costance if they were close to finding what she was looking for. She told him that she was looking for RARE SPIDER whose venom could give more strength to humans.

Ezekiel talks about a native or what they call the aranias who are said to have super human abilities because of these spiders. However, Constance focused on science not myths. She believed that the spider’s venom could cure diseases.

After that, Constance’s stomach suddenly hurt so she took the umbrella from Ezekiel and went into her tent to take a pictures of what she had recorded about spiders. Constance suddenly returns with the spider she caught but Ezekiel shoots her and tell her to give him the spider. However, she refused to give it to him so he was shot again.

During this time the MYSTICAL SPIDER PEOPLE arrive and Ezekiel runs with the rare spider as they bring Constance to their tribe. One of the spider-men puts a spider on Constance which bites her. They help her give birth to a baby girl then one of the tribesman tells Contance that her journey will be difficult but she can go through it. After that, he promised to answer her questions on his return. Constance tries to reach her baby but she has passed out.

The next scene, Will take us to Newyork in 2003. There we will see CASSANDRA known as CASSIE who is paramedic in Manhattan. She has a little difficult in her work but she is very dedicated to it. We see Cassie is driving an ambulance taking a patient to hospital while her partner BEN takes care of the patient suddenly, a teenager appeared on a skateboard who rudely crossed in front of them causing Cassie to be disappointed.

At the hospital the daughter who saved Cassie thanked her with a homemade card. Cassie isn’t sure what to do with it but Ben advises her to throw it away later.

At dinner, Ben shared that she met someone special. When Cassie return home she looks at her passed away mother Constance’s belongings, where we learn that Cassie is Constance daughter. She discovered his mother’s notes about finding spiders which piqued his curiosity.

In another emergency response Cassie and Ben rescue a man trapped in an overturned car while trapped inside the car plunges into the water for an inexplicable moment. She sees a massive spider web before Ben fulls him towards safety. As Ben takes care of Cassie. Cassie experiences a sudden flash of the future. Hearing Ben’s exact words before he said them. Made her gain the sidekick ability to see the future events like a CLAIRVOYANCE.

In the next scene. We see Ezekiel sleeping next to the woman he met at the opera. He has a recurring dream where his mystical spider is missing and he finds (3) three spider women who eventually kill him. It was revealed that Ezekiel gained powers from the spider.

Including Clairvoyance, he sees his vision everyday that he is haunted by the inevitable death because in his repeated dreams. Ezekiel confesses to the woman his desire to take a revenge against (3) three women. Using technology from NSA. The woman helps Ezekiel track his targerts. However, after getting the information from her Ezekiel killed her driven by his thrist for revenge.

Meanwhile, Cassie joins Ben’s family for a gender reveal party at his house. It turns out that MARY, Ben’s sister-in-law who is going to marry his brother RICHARD is expecting a baby. During the festivities they share fond memories and Cassie recounts her mother’s tragic AMAZON.

As they play a game to guess Mary’s baby name. Cassie experiences flashes of the future and feels reoccurrences. Later at an emergency site Cassie’s vision of fellow paramedic O’nie’l’s accident comes true. Meanwhile Ezekiel gains access to NSA surveillance technology through his tech assisstant AMARIA

In the next scene, Cassie asks her doctor for help to find out what is causing her unexplained visions but the doctor finds that her vitals are normal and advises her to rest or watch movie to reduce stress.

At home she witnesses a pigeon hitting his window then it disappears after she looks at it. Realizing it was a vision Cassie opens her window allowing the pigeon to enter wihout hitting the window which prompts her to believe she can change the future. Meanwhile, On her journey through the subway amaria informs Ezekiel that the (3) three potential spider women are at the train station where Cassie is also.

We can see Cassie seeing Ezekiel torturing the women in her vision when sensing danger she quickly gets the (3) three women off the train. Listening to police reports that put her as the kidnapper.

Cassie decides to take the girls to a forest to cool off for a while. During their time together the women ask about Ezekiel and why he wants to hurt them but Cassie knows nothing of the true story.

However, they quickly realize that they know Cassie when she saved Julia‘s stepmother earlier. Mattie is the girl who ride the skateboard and Anya live’s in Cassie’s building. After this Cassie reveals the ability to see the future which the girls can’t believe. Despite this, Julia encouraged them to trust Cassie. Returning to her home, Cassie removed the taxi’s plate number and entered the fire exit. There she discovered his mother’s notes about spider who gained power from the spider venom just like Ezekiel.

The notes mentioned a sixth sense similar to “clairvoyance” now to test her ability Cassie tried to climb a wall like Ezekiel but she failed. She also a picture of her mother and Ezekiel picture. Meanwhile in the jungle the girls bond and learn about each other’s lives. Mattie revealed that she lives at home alone because her parents are often away. Julia lives with her father and her stepmother and their son due to financial problems. Mattie suggests going to a nearby diner that she saw on their way here but Julia reluctantly agrees. At the diner, they ordered food and notice by a group of men. Mattie wants to talk to them but Anya doesn’t agree.

Meanwhile, a man read in the newspaper about the kidnapping and saw (3) three women. He called the police but AMARIA heard the call and immediately told Ezekiel. Ezekiel pretending to be a policeman called the police to report the fake sighting and shutdown the back-up while he was on his way to where the girls were.

Meanwhile Cassie arrives in the jungle but it’s dark and she realizes the girls are missing. She followed their footsteps and saw them dancing on the dining table. She was angry because she disobeyed her and Cassie approached them but Ezekiel arrived wearng his spider suit. Ezekiel attacked the people in the diner before targeting Julia and banging her head in the table. Cassie tries to defend them but Ezekiel defeats her. He grabbed Mattie and poisoined her body the dumped her. Cassie tries to fight back with a knife but Ezekiel stabs her. However, it was only a vision and Cassie was still in the jungle.

After that, Cassie rushes to the diner in a taxi to avoid an accident. Inside, Mattie and Julia are dancing on the table while Anya sits next to them. Cassie suddenly arrives there and hits Ezekiel with a taxi. Women are allowed to escape. They drive to a hotel where Cassie learn about the girl’s family problems.

It was found out that Julia’s mother was in a Psychiatric cord. Mattie’s parents are out of country’s and Anya’s father committed a crime. So they can’t go to the police for help but Cassie promises to bring them home in the morning.

At night, while the girls are sleeping Cassie goes out to the diner and has a telephatic meeting with Ezekiel. In the vision she found out why the (3) three women wanted to be killed and she suddenly woke up back at the hotel.

The next morning, Cassie teaches the girls about Ezekiel’s dangerous handling and how to do CPR. She also shared detail about his mother and Ezekiel. They were warned to beware of the dangers that would arise. Now that wants to learn more about spider people. Cassie leaves the girls with Ben and heads to AMAZON.

There she meets the native man who saved his mother and learns about Ezekiel’s curse and his theft of the spider. After this the man pushed her into the water where she was born and Cassie has a vision with her mother. After meeting her mother she discovers that her powers are just beginning and her vision have great potential to grow even stronger.

Meanwhile, Ezekiel threatens Amaria to find the women or she will be buried. At Ben’s house, Mary suddenly felt that she was about to give birth. Seeing this Ben called an ambulance but it was an emergency so he and the girls decided to take Mary to the hospital themselves.

During this time, Ezekiel saw them and learned their location. Returning to Ben’s house she finds it locked and sees in her vision that Ezekiel is hurting them. Meanwhile, Ezekiel orders Amaria to manipulate the traffic lights and make them turn green lights causing Ben to get caught in a traffic.

As Ezekiel prepares to drop a bomb on Ben’s car from the hood. Cassie arrived at the right time in an ambulance. In a strong move she jumped off the building with the ambulance from the second floor knocking Ezekiel into the air splashing in the process. The impact caused the bomb fall far from its intended target.

Cassie rushes the girls into the ambulance and tells Ben to bring Mary to a safety place. She drives fast while Ezekiel follows them behind jumping from car to car to chase them.

When they catch up Cassie and the girls use the defibrillator to electrocute Ezekiel giving them a chance to escape but soon their ambulance broke down. After this Cassie has a vision and realizes they need help. She requests air support in a nearby area where a building is already scheduled for a demolition. However, they found out that it was full of explosives. Cassie takes a bag of flare from the ambulance and give them to mark the explosive crates with the flares.

When Ezekiel arrives everything around them explodes but Cassie guides the girls safety through the chaos using her vision.

They reach the rooftop where they see the helicopter for air support but surrounded by explosions. Cassie uses her powers to help navigate the danger but as they near in the helicopter Ezekiel appears. During this time Cassie sees a vision of a firework heading their way and warns Julia to take cover but instead of letting it harm her. Ezekiel punched the explosive causing it to hit the helicopter. This causes the helicopter to explode and Ezekiel begins to attack them.

While the women fall into the fire from different sides. Cassie finally uses her powers. She appeared to each woman at once connected by a spider web to his true self. This allows Cassie to save the (3) three of them from danger but Ezekiel hasn’t stopped yet as he continues to follow Cassie where. She let her follow from the falling signboard she daw earlier in her vision.

Fortunately Ezekiel was trapped under the signboard for a while but becasue of the accident. Cassie also fell into the water. Now another danger and explosion will come to her. Seeing Julia bravely jumps in and saves Cassie who is unconcious and not waking up. Now the women decide to perform CPR to try to revive her. Cassie finally wakes up but her eyes are hurt by the explosion. Meanwhile Mary’s baby came out well bringing some happiness.

In the following days, Cassie came home in a wheelchair and with glasses for her eyes but she realized that her power was still there. When the girls visit Cassie tells them that she can see better now.

By the end of the movie. Cassie sees herself and the girls stopping the bad guys as the new heroes of the future. Strong, brave and no matter how hard the fight is.

This is where the movie ends. Watch it for sure you will like the story too.
